Raven and the white fur balls

Raven is now 6 months old, and the (8) Great Pyrenees puppies are 8 weeks old.
They have fun romping together when allowed to run free during meal breaks.

Raven ~ 5 1/2 Months

Raven enjoying the summer weather, and frogging in the pond.

Raven ~ 5 months old

Claire took Raven out for a walk thru the hayfields and woods, we've had plenty of rain lately.

Here Raven looks like she could be in some backwater bayou, instead of our woods.
Maybe she is the swamp creature?

Raven's LH- DS Family

Kent (Raven's breeder) sent me some updated photos the other day of Raven's - mom & brothers.
Axl, Arlo, and Donja
hanging out after a full day of outdoor fun.

Raven ~ 4 months old

Raven has been 'helping' me while I get the barn arranged and things ready for lambing which starts this coming weekend.
Just hanging out while I work.

Seeing what she can do to help?

Ahh! Finally a job she is good at, washing the dishes.
Even the doggie bowls and sheep buckets need cleaning now and then.

Raven really gets into her work.
She's up to her elbows getting them clean.
Or, is she just making a big splash mess and having some fun?

Life Lessons ~ 13 weeks

Raven is busy learning valueable life lessons at the tender age of 13 weeks.
Here she learns about the many types of furry things it will be her duty to dispatch. She's already worn out her 'fox' and 'raccoon', and she is relishing the next job of killing the skunk.

Here she is learning a very important lesson: If the humans are too busy, or if the power happens to go out, she now knows how to do the dishes. :-)

Raven meets Jackson

Raven and Jackson having a good old time face fighting.
Yes, Jackson can and does fit Raven's whole head into his mouth

The sneaky 'rear' attack approach.

Raven loves her chewies, and assorted toys!

Lake Michigan in Winter

On Valentine's Day we were invited over to the Reame's to learn to make ravioli, and Raven came along too. She had a doggie play date with their two Shelties, Maggie & Stella. I don't know if the Shelties enjoyed her, but she had fun trying to keep up with them, and playing with their assorted toys.
We took a stroll down to Lake Michigan to see the ice flows, and to let the dogs romp. One of the adults foot slipped thru the ice so we kept Raven on a lead until we were away from the shoreline and up on the dune. As you can see she has no fear of mother nature, or the big lake.

Lake Michigan tastes good!

Raven after her beach walk. She fell asleep while trying to eat her dinner.
Hum! I remember this happening to my kids while eating in their highchairs now and then.
